- 22–27 Jun 2026The aircraft was damaged at its Kavaratti mooring and sent to Kochi for repairs.8
- Jul 2026A launch was announced for 18–19 July. We found no report that it happened.9
- 22 Aug 2026The Civil Aviation Minister said the seaplane would start again "very soon, if things align properly".10

Helicopter
Three government helicopters serve medical evacuations, official duty and search & rescue first.11
In the monsoon, a helicopter links Kavaratti and Agatti for flight passengers, subject to availability.12
Bangaram is reached from Agatti by boat or helicopter.13
We found no public booking channel or current helicopter fare for tourists.
